Where We Train
I train with some private students in their living rooms, others in their garages, and some in local gym spaces — it’s entirely up to you. Think of your home, your garden, your workplace during a break, or even a local park. All you need is a little space and the willingness to begin. We can always switch up the venue as we go.

Who I Teach
Private self-defence and martial arts training is also different to a group or class setting in the sense that those are usually broken up and organised by age, ability and gender (or a mixture of). When I come to you, these more restrictive elements don’t apply.
I train and mentor a lot of students individually, but I also have ‘groups’ of private students that I regularly coach too, such as families (parents and children), siblings and even groups of friends who train privately together.
I’m very accommodating and whatever your requirements, it’s usually simple to iron out the details.

Every person learns differently. Your training plan is built around your pace, your strengths, and the areas you want to develop most. I’ll never ‘work’ you too hard and we’ll always stay with what what’s safe or comfortable for you.
I have decades of experience recognising when you’re ready to level up. You’re always free to pause, adjust, or choose the direction we take. I may be the Master Instructor, but you’re the Master of yourself.
